Lovato-Lawrence Children

A grandmother leaving the state of Colorado may stop in Kansas City before heading for her possible destination in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Missing from their home is 8 year old Majesta Lovato-Lawrence. She is 4 foot 5 inches tall, weighs 80lbs with black hair and brown eyes. Her 6 year old brother, Isaiah is 4 foot tall, weighs 60 lbs also with black hair and brown eyes. The alleged abductor is 59 year old Pamela Hughey who is 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighs 170 lbs with grey hair and brown eyes. A felony warrant was issued for her within 3 days of taking the children from their parent.

Sometimes a grandparent will feel justified in taking the children from their parents. Some have very valid concerns. But the courts will only recognize these efforts if the Judge gives the grandparent custody of the children. If not, the grandparent can be charged with interference with custody and once again that just hurts the kids
