Custody cases can be ugly for both of the parents, and when the children are older and understand what is going on; it can be a traumatic experience for them as well.

16 year old Jeffrey Brown is now missing from Leavenworth, Ks. He is 5 foot 5 inches tall and weighs 130 lbs. He has brown hair, blue eyes and a mole on his left cheek.

Jeff’s father has custody of him and they have been living in Texas. The non-custodial mother lives in Leavenworth. All parties went to the Leavenworth County Courthouse for a custody hearing to determine where Jeff should live and with whom. Things must not have gone well between his parents, because Jeff chose to run from the courthouse. We do not know if his mother knows where he is, but if someone is hiding Jeff, they need to come forward.
