Lewis Children

Many times we tell you about cases where a parent abducts their child from the other parent. But there are cases where the courts feel that neither parent should have legal custody of the children, therefore placing the kids with another family member or a foster family. That is the situation for this week’s Child search. Please look for these children in our area.

2 year old Kayla Lewis is 2 foot 9 inches tall and weighs 28 lbs. She has Lt brown hair and hazel eyes. Her 6 month brother, Conner, is 2 foot tall and weighs 15 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. The parents, Robert Whitehead and Lacey Lewis, were incarcerated on theft and forgery charges. The grandparents were awarded custody. A few months after getting out of jail, these non-custodial parents apparently were not appreciating the help they were receiving from their family. They moved out in the middle of the night taking both children. They left the state of Tennessee in a red 1996 4X4 GMC truck. Unless they stole a tag, one has not been assigned to the truck.
