The night of July 31st was a horrible crime scene for officers in Channelview Texas. Now their suspect is on the run and could possibly be arriving in our area. So we need your help..


3 year old Danielle Jimenez and her mother were at home at night going about their normal routine. Danielle is 2 foot tall and weighs 30 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. They heard a noise and saw someone appear at their door. It was Danielle’s father, Leandro and he was angry at her mother. He is 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs 200 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He broke into the house and started arguing with her mom. As the fight got worse and before officers could arrive, Leandro allegedly stabbed Danielle’s mother numerous times in the chest, abdomen and back. Probably right in front of the 3 year old. He then grabbed the girl and ran out the door; speeding away in silver 2004 Chevrolet extended cab pickup truck with Texas plates, 9NGH92. Danielle’s mother breathed her last breath that night in her home defending her 3 year old.

A felony warrant for homicide has been issued for Leandro, so extreme caution is advised. If he feels he is cornered or trapped, there is concern that he could harm Danielle. So please do not approach them, just call
